St Helen’s Bishopsgate Church

St Helen’s Bishopsgate is in the City of London, right by the insurance district where you will find the Gherkin, Lloyd’s of London and the other new high rises. It was a dull day and the camera found it difficult to balance the grey light and grey stone. Robert Hooke was first laid to rest here. Shakespeare lived in the area too.

As always, I love the different features within the walls all telling a story of their own.
